Architect of digital security: Philipp Frei celebrates 20 years at Devigus Engineering AG

Philipp Frei is celebrating his 20th anniversary at DEVIGUS Engineering AG this year - an impressive career characterized by innovation, commitment and outstanding expertise.
His career began as a software developer for our flagship application AREGIS. It quickly became clear that Philipp was not only a technical talent, but also an advocate for secure and future-oriented solutions. With his deep expertise and strategic thinking, he soon took over the architectural responsibility for the further development and maintenance of our proven share register platform, a milestone that has significantly strengthened our position in the industry.
As Chief Advisor, Philipp played a crucial role in the migration of our share register application to the latest Microsoft platform. Thanks to his foresight and technical precision, we were able to make the transition seamless and take the platform to a new level. The quality and stability of our services remained at the highest level during this phase - a credit to Philipp.
Another milestone in his impressive career was the establishment and certification of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001 in 2012. Since then, Philipp has made a significant contribution to the successful recertification and continuous development of the ISMS. He has consistently continued this work by being responsible for the implementation of our ISO 27017 certification for information security in cloud services and ISO 27018 certification for the protection of personal data in the cloud. These achievements have not only raised our security standards to a new level, but have also further strengthened our customers' trust in our platform.
Philipp has also established the highly secure and highly available operation of our Shareholder Services platform in two redundant data centers, which means that our customers can rely on first-class, reliable and secure services at all times.
In addition to his technical and operational successes, Philipp has always worked on his personal development. With a solid education at the ETH and numerous successful further training courses, he has continued to develop and remains a role model for excellence and willingness to learn. We appreciate this tireless commitment and are proud to have such a personality with such an impressive track record in our senior team.
Today, as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Philipp provides invaluable services for the security and stability of our IT infrastructure. Even with the most complex IT security requirements, he always maintains an overview and ensures that our ISMS is continuously developed through sound analysis and precise implementation. Thanks to his commitment, we are also able to meet the future requirements of our very demanding customers.
