On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, together with our partners Habegger AG, IR club Switzerland and Hallenstadion AG, we invited to the live event "virtual general meeting - a look behind the scenes". In the specially constructed "AGM setting" in Zurich's Hallenstadion, the numerous participants were able to experience live what it takes to conduct a virtual AGM successfully and in compliance with the law. With an interactively designed live demo, in which the attendees virtually participated, all use cases were concretely played through. A legal presentation and a subsequent panel discussion rounded off the exciting event.

In order to ensure that a virtual general meeting can be held without risk and in a shareholder-friendly manner, concepts for concrete implementation must be developed with the same priority as consideration of the legal framework.

These complex tasks were demonstrated to the participants in detail in an impressive manner using the live demo. With the "look behind the scenes" it was possible to look over the shoulder of a process director or other technical employees. In this way, those present were able to gain a concrete insight into the demanding technical implementation and follow live how the implementation of the virtual general meeting works. Through the live demonstration and the exchange with the experts, many ambiguities could be eliminated and the participants left the event with a good feeling about the topic of virtual general meetings.
